LS 101: Adams, M.: Videos

This is a supplemental resources guide for LS 101

Video/audio resources

Why use audio or video sources?

They:

  • can be valid sources for research
  • give you a visual and emotional understanding of your topic
  • allow you to hear important talks or lectures at your own convenience
  • can provide authentic, first-hand accounts of events from participants or witnesses in the film
  • are great for presentations you must give in front of a class - keep your audience interested and engaged!
  • need to be evaluated to determine if they are of good quality

Rely on non-fiction audio and video, such as documentaries, interviews, lectures...

Videos in the library

Search the Library Catalog for DVDs and VHS tapes that are available in the library.

Log in to the TCC Portal > Library 'Quick Link' > Library Catalog tab then...

click on the 'Film' link to seach DVD/VHS subjects or titles. (All video must be used inside the library.)
