In general, the TCC OER subject guides have been created to compile potential OER for different courses or subject areas. These guides are primarily developed by Jennifer Snoek-Brown, the OER Librarian, with input from liaison librarian(s).

How has this guide developed?

The first version of this guide, a Google Doc, was first created in Fall 2016 after initial conversations with ABE faculty members. The content in this guide has expanded after additional conversations, questions, feedback, and focus groups from Transitional Studies faculty. Based on feedback from faculty via a survey and focus group in Fall 2018 and Winter 2019, the resources in this guide have been reorganized by topic first, and then by format (textbooks, supplemental resources, etc.)
