For your APA persuasive paper in English 102, you are required to find 8 credible sources (and at least two of these must be from scholarly or peer-reviewed journals). To determine if a sources is credible you need to evaluate it. Use the resources below to assist you in evaluating your sources. In particular, be sure to consider each of the source evaluation criteria when reviewing your sources.
Not all resources are created equal! There are a number of criteria to consider when determining whether or not a source is reliable (able to be trusted) and appropriate for your academic work.

Government websites (at both the federal and state level) can provide statistics and reliable information about some topics.
Limit your search to only government websites by using "site:.gov" as part of your search string. Here's is an example of what you would type into a Google search bar:
yoga well-being site:.gov (note that there is no space before or after the colon)
Some universities have research centers, and make their research available online. Here is a sample Google search to narrow down to educational websites:
yoga well-being site:.edu
