Subject and course guides

What's on this page?

What Are Research Guides?

They are guides created by your TCC librarians to support research assignments in specific courses  (updated each quarter), or larger topic areas relevant to your time at TCC.

  • Look at the menu to the right for the type of class (Art, English, History, etc.), click the link and find your course number and instructor's name
  • General guides, such as evaluating sources or finding scholarships

What if You Don't See a Guide for Your Course?

*If you don't see your course, it is probably because your instructor did not request a guide. If you think a research guide would be helpful, let us know and we'll be happy to contact your instructor and get the information we need to create a useful guide.
