Technical writing defined

"Simply put, technical writers explain things. We take complicated concepts and break them down into easy-to-understand pieces. We’re also skilled at organizing information so it flows logically." [1]

While technical writing is most often associated with industries like information technology and engineering, those same principles apply to writing about health, medicine and business.
