Find country information
This page features two TCC Library databases that will be helpful in finding information and pictures about your country. The boxes below show you how to search in each database.
Gale eBooks

Digitized reference works, covering many disciplines. Very useful for background information on a topic.
To search for a country in Gale eBooks:
1. Enter the name of the country in the search box and click the search icon.
2. Now look at your results.
3. To read an article, click on the title (shown in the red circle below).
CultureGrams
- CultureGrams This link opens in a new window
Concise, reliable, and up-to-date reports on more than 200 countries, each U.S. state, and all 13 Canadian provinces and territories.
To search for country information in the CultureGrams database:
1. Click "World Edition."
2. Click the continent on which your country is found (Example: For information about Kenya, you would click on the African continent).
3. Click on your selected country.
