ZAPP at Seattle Public LibraryZAPP (Zine Archive and Preservation Project) "was dedicated to preserving and promoting self-publishing in Seattle and beyond. ZAPP collected more than 30,000 zines, minicomics and other self-published and small press titles" (SPL Website). The collection was donated to the Seattle Public Library and can only be viewed in the library, by appointment. Timberland Regional Libraries Zine CollectionsThe Olympia branch of TRL has a collection of over 1,700 zines and the Lacey branch has a smaller collection of over 400. Zines can be enjoyed in the library or checked out and taken home. Visit the link to search the TRL catalog for zines.
