Searching for Scholarly Articles 

 

You can easily limit to scholarly, peer-reviewed articles in the library's databases. Check out the tabbed boxes below for suggested databases and search tips. 


Using Filters to Limit to Peer-Reviewed Sources

As shown in the two images below, limiting to peer-reviewed journals in the majority of the library's databases is as easy as checking a few boxes! 

Both these images show what the left-side filter looks like in these two databases (Academic Search or any of the Ebsco databases), and ProQuest. Notice that the terms Academic and Scholarly are being used interchangeably and both refer to the same journal articles discussed in this guide.
