For Professor Morgan-Krick's Math 146 class, and any student of statistics

Bias in data

What is dataset bias?

Numbers are supposed to be unbiased, right? It often is not the case depending on how we collect data, and how we interpret it.

This page is dedicated to creating an awareness of bias in data. You are not responsible for accounting for bias in your datasets, but it is important to be aware that it exists, especially if you plan on working with data as a career, or part of your career.
