The Library library owns many print books and has access to even more electronic books (eBooks) on various topics. Books are good for providing more in-depth information or putting the issue in context but be sure to check how current the information is.
TIP: Don't read the ENTIRE book, just the chapters and pages that are relevant to your topic. You can use the Table of Contents or Index to pinpoint chapters that relate to your topic.
Once you've found general, background information on your topic, it's time to find more in-depth information. One way is to find books that you can check out at the TCC Library or e-books that you can read online. You can search the library catalog for books by doing a keyword search (e.g., "bilingual education" or "drug abuse") by clicking the link below.
