2. Place a Hold on a book that you'd like to request.

3. You'll be prompted to login to My Account.

4. Once logged in, fill in the required information to place a hold. Under Pickup Library, make sure to choose Gig Harbor Campus.

5. The Library on the main campus will send your requested item(s) to you through the intercampus mail system. You will be notified by email when it is ready for pickup.

Reserve collection

Textbooks and other material designated by the instructor for particular classes are available for use in the library.

Most reserve materials may be borrowed for periods of two hours. Some may be borrowed for longer periods, just ask!

Fees for overdue or lost books

We do not charge overdue fines. However, we do charge for lost materials. Any charges are placed on your ctcLink account. The charge must be paid or the item returned before the student can register for classes or receive a transcript.

  • Borrowers are responsible for all checked out items, including lost materials.
  • Borrowers will receive email reminders to their student email account for all overdue and lost items.
  • If an item is 21 days overdue, it becomes a "Lost" item.
  • Lost material will be charged at the price of the item, plus a $5.00 processing fee for each charge.
  • The Library will place a hold on the student's account until the item is returned to the Library or the amount is paid. A hold prevents the student from registering for classes or requesting transcripts.
  • Fees will be waived if overdue material is returned within the 1st week of the following quarter.
  • If the item is found and returned within one year after a payment is made, the library will refund the price of the item (but not the $5 processing fee/s).
